Looking after toddlers is a skilled job. A parent leaving their infant in a nursery setting needs to feel confident that their toddler will be well looked after, happy, safe and secure in a comfortable environment within a cosy setting.
At Next Steps the toddlers have the use of two rooms, the first room is a large room full of natural light, a bright stimulating space filled with colourful, exciting and age appropriate toys, giving them the opportunity to explore in a safe environment.
The Play and Explore area is full of resources which feeds young curious minds.
The Quiet Area for relaxation, includes a sensory sleep room with individual colour coded cots and a calming environment.
The qualified toddler room team will ensure that your baby gets lots of attention and cuddles, and their physical needs are attended to at all times.
Menu : our in-house cook will provide your toddler with home cooked meals appropriate for their stage of development.
Working in partnership : Upon enrolment and during the settling in process, you will receive a Cuddly Koalas Busy Day Book. This communication diary will be completed daily by our key carers, keeping you up to date with new routines & recording feeds/nappy changes and general information. As well as starting the recorded Learning Journey, the toddlers will take part in a range of activities to promote their development including messy creative play, outdoor time in their special secure garden and sensory sessions.
